This pair of bronze doors, attributed to Raymond Subes, has two panels with an interlinking vase design, mounted within a frame, 109x 109cm together. Subes (1893-1970) produced many pieces for Paris Exposition International, the Cathedral of Rouen, many oceanliners, Banque de France and many more. He never signed his works. In 1958 he became a member of the Academie des Beaux-Arts. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
