Canova Potiche

This potiche is a unique piece and is part of a collection made up of several anamorphic ceramic works dedicated to the images of famous marble sculptures by Antonio Canova. The figure, which has been hand-painted by the artist, takes on the shape of the vase in a play of associations between two - dimensional images and volume, creating a dialogue between ceramics, painting and sculpture. It is an original work, the result of a research on the theme of perspective and distortions of perspective.
