Wonderful vintage ceramic decorative bird cage (for candles, floral, etc use only - not for use with live animals) with hand painted details, a hanging hook and small door that is removable (opening is 3”wide x 6.25”high when door is removed). Bottom has an unknown fired stamp and an old tag that says “made in Italy for Gump’s” (a luxury goods store in San Francisco since 1861). Although we are unable to determine the exact age - these were made in various sizes with different attributes over the years - we believe it to be from the late 20th Century.
