Divine Decadence 2 Multifunctional Object in Aurore Marble by Richard YasmineDimensions: Vase: Ø 24 x H 28 cm.Base: Ø 12 x H 14,5 cm.Head: Ø 8 x H 19 cm.Candleholder: Ø 5 x H 6 cm.Materials: Rose Aurore marble, steel, wood, silver, and mother of pearl.Divine Decadence is a bold exploration of opulence, sensuality, and provocative play. This art de la table collection, comprising vases, vessels, reversible bowls, and candleholders, celebrates voluptuous forms sculpted in marble. Some pieces are left unadorned, while others bristle with stainless steel spikes, each cradling a delicate, handcrafted jasmine flower in double silk organza, a symbol of glory blooming from tension. At the heart of each piece lies a sculpted mother-of-pearl rod, discreetly nestled within the form. Together, the elements evoke a fruit—the fruit of sin—a tribute to temptation. These rods, while elegant, carry a daring innuendo, subtly mimicking intimate toys; they fuse function with eroticism in an unapologetic celebration of desire.Rooted in themes of enlightenment and transgression, Divine Decadence unveils the shadows of longing and taboo. It sparks conversation, confronting what is hidden, and inviting a bold dialogue around personal expression and sensual ritual. The collection plays on contrasts: the timeless purity of marble meets the shimmering seduction of mother-of-pearl, the aggression of spikes is softened by fragile jasmines, and the intimacy of crochet intersects with cold steel. Each object becomes a stage for visual tension and tactile audacity flowing from poetic delicacy to dramatic, fetish-infused expression.Crafted by six Lebanese artisans, Divine Decadence honors the hand and the sacred act of making. Here, fetish meets ritual, and kink intertwines. Tableware becomes theatre. Utility flirts with provocation. A ceremony of desire, wrapped in opulence.Divine Decadence doesn’t whisper. It moans. It dares. It reveals. It is a poetic rebellion, sacred, profane, divine, and decadent, where elegance seduces provocation, and each piece becomes a sensual confession.Richard Yasmine a Lebanese interior architect and product designer, filled with imagination using his imaginary world as a simulation to try out new ideas and create new objects inspired of life, objects and emotions, the human body: physiology and needs, but also focuses on internal chaos combined with a certain innate sensitivity; sometimes extreme and provocative or even not expected by others but still minimal, bold, and straightforward without disguising or hiding true reality.
