Ca. 1910 American whirligig depicting a hand-carved and painted woodsman sawing a log. When manually turned, the front 'blade' activates the woodman's 'sawing' motion, though the axe and log are missing (expected loss from a piece of this age). All original paint and hardware. Fine, vintage condition showing patina, wear, and losses (log and axe) commensurate with age and use. Measures: 29.5” long x 25” high x 19" deep.
