Originally used as a candle stand, this wonderful porcelain “fu” has personality and character. Early to mid 20th C, and replete with auspicious guardian symbolism, this piece is in overall great condition with some evidence of wear due to age near rear/tail (see photos). The detail on the eyes, tendrils and paws is fantastic. There is a small mold mark (?) at center/top of head. This piece would look great on a curio stand!
