By Maria Eduarda de Carvalho in partnership with oEbanistaIn the search for a meaningful use for the wood scraps left over from the workshop of master cabinetmaker Ricardo Graham Ferreira, we shaped pieces of wood that were no longer large enough for furniture production into eggs. Pleasing to both the hands and the eyes, these wooden eggs evoke affectionate memories of times when socks were still darned by careful hands. The collection takes on the feel of a xylotheque (a wood library), where what matters far more than the names of the species is the opportunity to have all the beauty of wood's diversity right before your eyes and within reach.Each of the species used has its own scent, weight, texture, and color. Thanks to their organic, curved shape, the true beauty of the wood grain is beautifully revealed.The woods used vary with each assembled set, prioritizing, above all, a rich diversity of colors among them.
