This is a one of a kind stunning heavy Meenakari painted enamel door. This door was commissioned in India and transported to the United States ~25 years ago. The door is covered in a stamped gold tinged metal pattern on one side and an intricate hand painted enamel pattern on the other side. The door is heavy and intended for use as a "real" door but would also make a lovely accent or display piece. Doors such as these adorn Indian temples. This is a vintage door and as such, shows some age related imperfections including paint loss, enamel warping and other signs of wear. Please see the photos closely. Despite the imperfections this door is a complete show-stopper! There is no key included for this door.
