- One of our favorite objects, these antique, Japanese glass floats were originally attached to fishing nets as a means of keeping them afloat. Occassionally, they came loose and washed up on shore, part of the mythical detritus of the sea. - We love gathering a grouping in a bowl, resting a few on a window sill, or perching one solo on a bookshelf. They add a touch of storied and subtle whimsy to any room. - All are a beautiful, blue-green hue with subtle variations. - Please note these are antique, hand blown floats with subtle variations. No two are exactly alike and may not match listing photo exactly.
