Chinese porcelain Eight Immortals and deities bitong, with a white glazed exterior, interior and circular inset centered on the unglazed base. The body of the pot is decorated with finely drawn, polychrome depictions of the Eight Buddhist Immortals visiting with three other deities amidst a heavenly garden of fruited trees, flowering bushes, grasses, mosses and auspicious stones. A dense lattice of green and umber quatrefoils encircles the top of the brushpot on a raised band, bracketed by thin red trim lines. Fruited chevrons encircle the foot, also on a raised band bracketed by thin red trim lines. A blue, four character, Yang Zheng Shu Wu, Yongzheng mark is glazed to the inset base.
