An Italian mid-century decorative ceramic plate, hand painted in the style of John Haymson. The simple scene depicts a two-horse drawn clarence carriage, crossing a bridge lit with streetlamps. The driver in a top hat and green cape has a pencil mustache and pointed beard. The scene is colored in golden yellow, gray, burnt orange, green and blue. Marked “Made Italy” and numbered on the back. The plate has two small holes in the foot and is strung for hanging.
