A vintage hand-crafted cast patinated bronze wind bell designed for Arcosanti, an experimental Arizona community by Italian architect Paolo Soleri. He used unique earth-casting methods to design the community. The heavy wind bell features a Brutalist-like design. The Arcosanti emblem is impressed on the bell (as shown in last photo). It is attached to a hand-crafted chain for installation in a garden or porch. The bell is in good condition with verdigris patina. No damage was observed. Dimensions: 21" H X 5" W, 3" D. Soleri studied with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in Arizona and Taliesin East in Wisconsin.
