This is a vintage Polaroid Land Camera Model 95A, an early generation instant bellows camera originally produced between 1948 and 1959. The camera features a folding design with black accordion-style bellows and a brushed metal faceplate. The body is finished in a reddish-brown textured material with chrome-colored metal trim. Attached to the side is a large, circular metal flash reflector containing a blue flashbulb. A brown leather carrying strap is attached to the top of the camera body. The unit is mounted on a rectangular, polished travertine stone base with natural pitting and earth-toned variations. This model was designed for use with Polaroid's original roll film and represents the mid-century industrial design of Edwin H. Land's early instant photography systems.
