Made from ultra-durable HDPE (high density polyethylene) partially derived from recycled single-use plastics like milk jugs and shampoo bottles, the Rapson Birdhouse is a durable, maintenance-free shelter for feathered friends. It’s based on a sketch by midcentury architect Ralph Rapson, and resembles the Hope Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, which Rapson designed in 1971. All Loll outdoor furniture is made with recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Colored material is post-consumer recycled HDPE sourced mainly from single-use milk jugs, while black material is post-industrial recycled HDPE. More than 95 percent of the waste from Loll's manufacturing process is sent to a local recycling plant where it is recycled again. From the HDPE plastic to the aluminum inserts and stainless steel fasteners, Loll furniture is all recyclable.
