Gorgeous hand carved wood flute by the Lobi People of Mali, West Africa. It is typically used by girls during ceremonies representing women. It has a lot of patina and feels wonderful to hold. It displays beautifully and was carved and smoothed by one person. Dated to mid 20th century.
