Upupa

Upupa is an ornament made of glass with a mixed technique.‎ In 1964, the creativity of Toni Zuccheri conceived it with dark wings, ruffled red feathers, and golden leaves adorning its bright Red crown.‎ Its appearance strikes the eye, capturing and holding the viewer’s attention.‎Toni Zuccheri’s travelling companions: animals have given life and soul to the splendid glass works of this artist.‎ The decoys used by hunters to attract real ducks, normally made from straw, wood and tar, become precious objects when formed from rods of different coloured glass, masterfully ground to shape.‎Numbered edition for year
