Carved walking stick by Vernon Edwards, one of the Savannah “Stick Men,” a Southern hardwood, with carved ringed sections and an incised VE monogram on the center ring. Edwards worked in Pooler, Georgia, and became known for walking sticks and sculptural carvings, including snakes, hands, figures, and related motifs. His work was featured in the Telfair Museum’s Masters of the Walking Stick exhibition. 1 ½ inches wide by 35 inches tall. from the Collection of John and Virginia Duncan, Savannah, GA
