A practical antique: non-chemical, and most enchanting bug trap, long used by French orchardists. Still used by French orchardists, and other imaginative, beauty loving, climate conscious folks. Look closely to see how ingeneous: a hole in the center of the bottom with a 2" lip surrounding: that's where you put the sugar water or honey to lure them. Once inside feasting, they cannot get out. Still cruel, but.... This treasure is not confined to an orchard: where wouldn't it stun? I like it indoors in a sunny window when not in practical use outdoors. Excellent condition, 18" tall, 5" wide at bottom, 3 1/4" top opening.
