Wow, does this guy have the "right stuff" or what?! Fabulously carved mane and tail (as well as the rest), terrific stature (44 inches tall at that perked up ear), good weight (I guess about 50 pounds, and seemingly of solid carved wood), dazzling colors and handsome design. Mr. Horsie probably hails from the Art Deco period, judging from his overall "look" (the rocker decorations specifically), but he might be a little newer. His stature and substance bring him pretty close to having the presence of a carousel horse. He has thin cracks here and there, across the saddle and where the neck and legs join the body. However, none of these point to or suggest any structural instability. A horse for all seasons... Measurements: 44 inches high, 29 to the middle of the saddle. The rocking apparatus measures 36 long by 14 wide.
