These two globes are the large version of the illuminated globes from this period. They are produced to a high quality, in the style of the Columbus company. The terrestrial globe (duo globe) has an alternating image and shows the geographical map without lighting and the physical map when illuminated. The bases are made of wood with a chrome plated disc. An interesting detail is that the globes are reflected in the chrome-plated disc. The balls are hand-laminated from mouth-blown glass, the meridian is made from aluminum. Both globes are illuminated and each have an E14 socket.
