A diminutive Jacobean style Oak Gateleg Table, late 19th century, with a round top over crisply-turned supports ending in bun feet, mortise, tenon and pegged construction, the gates swinging open to support the two demilune leaves. Great patina and minor wear commensurate with its age, this table is perfect next to a chair or would even make a great coffee table. Solid oak, very sturdy and ready to place. Closed, it measures 24" x 9" x 20": open, 24" x 26" x 20". A great miniature version of the original dining tables from the 17th and 18th centuries.
