An unusual Desserte console in what may be the fabled plum pudding mahogany. Locks stamped ‘Paris’ ( see photo ) . The galleried top encasing a grey veined white marble top ( no cracks ) over a projected top drawer over four recessed drawers flanked at each end by two mirrored shelves under faux curved drawers. Each shelf with gallery and marble inset . The whole on four fluted Louis XVI style legs . With age and use , the marbles intact and undamaged as are the mirrors to the shelves . No key. Areas of fading and darkening . Structurally sound .
