Great mid-20th-century Italian dresser. A half-moon commode of carved, lacquered, and chiseled wood with exceptionally high-quality relief decorations in the Bonzanigo, Louis XVI style of Turin. The chest of drawers features a fabulous original marble top of the highest quality, composed of two overlapping and glued marble slabs, resulting in a considerable 4 cm thick top. The furniture's stunning decoration is of exceptional quality and impact, ideal for a grand living room or study. It features two spacious central drawers and two side doors (see photo). The drawers are adorned with bronze and gilded and chiseled brass handles. It comes with two keys; the locks do not work. The commode has a beautiful patina, is structurally sound and solid, and is in overall good condition.
