Sculptural Italian School 1950's desk and matching chair is made of cherry wood in the manner of Gio Ponti. The desk has two drawers and light grey Formica on two levels of the desk with glass, the legs are tapered. The chair also has Formica inlay on the back rest and a newly upholstered cushion in a linen fabric. The desk represents a modern, sleek and streamlined silhouette that was ground breaking of its time.
