An antique Victorian solid mahogany swivel desk armchair with dished seat, sitting on brass and porcelain castors. Circa 1880. The chair has the original finish, which is in very good condition, showing some wear in colour in the right places. It has been cleaned and waxed. It has a mellow shine with age. Very sturdy with no loose joints. This is a swivel chair with no height adjustment. There is some slight movement in the stem - this is very normal for these chairs - and a slight rubbing when swivelled at each quarter, this however does not make a sound. The am height is 73.5cm.
