Antique Gothic Revival ash & leather armchair desk chair, sitting on castors. English - Circa 1880. The chair has been fully reupholstered including re-webbing and finished in a quality pigmented dark brown leather by Wildman & Bugby. It has a smooth texture and is durable. The inners all comply with fire regulations. The stylish ash frame has line and dot carved detail. The frame has been cleaned and waxed and in very good condition, showing a few light marks with use. The chair is sturdy with no loose joints or damage. This piece would work well as a desk chair as it has an upright feel.
