The chair has a pierced splat & is heavily carved with a ton of different designs including punch carvings, Acanthus leaves, traditional flowers, Bellflowers, & Rococo style knuckles. Almost every surface is decorated with some type of carving work including the entire seat box & the H shaped stretcher. The chair also has a charming needlepoint seat with multicolored flowers amid a beige field. The chair measures 24” wide x 21” deep x 38” tall. The seat measures 19” wide between the arms x 16” deep with a 17 1/2” seat height.
