This desk lamp was designed and manufactured by Bernard Albin-Gras in France circa 1930. It is made from aluminium (shade) and steel and in a very good vintage condition. In 1922 Bernard-Albin Gras designed a series of lamps for use in offices and in Industrial environments. Because of its great design and function Le Corbusier became soon supporter of Bernards-Albin Gras lamps using them in his own offices. The electrics have been renewed with the original B22 socket and power the lamp new through a black, cloth-sheathed cable with ground contact. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
