A beautiful, early 19th century French cartel lamp now wired for electricity. Completely hand constructed and seamed with copper and brass ornaments. Decorative motifs include chased basketweave, water leaf and anthemion. Highest quality. Good overall condition consistent with age - some polish caught in high points and a few dents in baluster stem. Displays beautifully and fully functional - a masculine piece beautiful on the desk.
