An alluring, elegant design with conical marble base echoed by a tilted, enameled steel, conical shade set on an angled brass stem, cleft to accommodate a dangling, wooden sphere pull. Perfect scale and proportions; a beautifully balanced sculptural presence. An even, desired patina throughout. Etched maker's mark at underside: "Italy Raymor 1867". An incredible example of mid-century Italian lighting by this celebrated manufacturer.
