Desk lamp model 7603 designed by Heinz F.W. Stahl for Hillebrand Leuchten, Germany, circa 1960s. The lamp reflects the restrained functionalism associated with postwar German lighting design. Wide enamelled shade paired with a chromed base. The slightly textured grey finish gives the surface an almost mineral appearance, which contrasts nicely with the polished metal below. Notably, Hillebrand Leuchten became known during the postwar years for producing technically refined lighting with understated forms rather than decorative excess. Dimensions Height 54 cm / 21.3 in Shade diameter 44 cm / 17.3 in Condition Good vintage condition with wear visible on the grey enamelled shade. Chrome base remains in very good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
