The Naska Table Lamp from FontanaArte is a spring-balanced task lamp dating to 1933, widely considered a reference point for the adjustable-arm desk lamp as a type. The arm rotates and repositions freely, allowing the painted metal head to be directed as needed, with an on/off switch built directly into the diffuser. The base and body are also finished in painted metal, and a black power cable runs cleanly along the structure. The design has remained in production with minimal alteration since its introduction.
