Constructed in painted cast iron and sheet metal, the lamp combines a stepped architectural base with a slender angular stem supporting a broad rectangular shade. A piece balancing between art deco and early modernist industrial design. The original surface has developed a rich and beautiful patina through decades of use, revealing traces of the material beneath. When illuminated, the warm brass-toned interior of the shade casts an intimate, focused light. Comes in a good original condition.
