Early American wash stand / writing desk / work table / side table. The table has turned legs and made with large planks and has a tall back. The 2 handles are ceramic. The table wood is unidentified. The inside of the back board has the message "March 1875" that is hand written in pencil. The table measures approximately 35-3/4 inches tall to the top of the back of the desk, 28-1/4 inches tall to the front table top, 29-3/4 inches wide and 17-1/4 inches deep. The knee hole is 22-1/2 inches tall and 25 inches wide. The table has many scratches, gouges, stains, loose knobs, glue drips and other signs of use. Please see photos.
