This is a English Regency William IV period, circa 1820s. Writing table or library desk with a trestle base. It features two drawers with wooden knobs on one side and faux drawer fronts on the reverse. The table is supported by elegant, sweeping side supports with a turned stretcher and original caster bun feet. The wood appears to be a rich, burled walnut veneer. The style is characteristic of the English Regency or William IV period, circa 1820s. Knee clearance is 24 inches
