This stunning original 19th century Louis Philippe Ebonised & Marquetry inlaid writing table with extending side leaves and gilt bronze fixtures and fittings A very fine table, made from luxury amboyna and satinwood with burr walnut and as mentioned gild bronze decorations. This is a very high quality table, it would have been designed as a ladies writing table originally, I would imagine it was also used as a silver or tea table at some point In terms of the condition the piece has been cleaned waxed and polished, the idea being to keep it as original as possible so all the period patination is still present.
