19th century English pedestal desk made from mahogany. The top is covered in the original tan leather, which has aged beautifully, and is banded by a shaped mahogany border. The desk is in a wonderfully grained and colored mahogany, which has aged perfectly. The center of the desk is serpentined in the front for comfortable access to a writing surface, and is flanked on either side by two pedestals, each with four drawers with turned handles, and they are supported on moulded plinths.
