20th century French bureau plat/ writing desk In Bois Satiné veneer, mirror veneer covering all sides with rocaille applications. Edged with extremely finely chiselled, extremely decorative, restrained bronze fittings. Tulip veneer on solid beechwood. Heavily cambered, four-sided curved, three-slide frame base with a wide knee compartment on elegantly curved square legs in sabots. Slightly protruding table top with a fantastically curved, profiled bronze frame. Very nice corner fittings. Cover plate covered with dark leather.
