Dates from 1780-1810, replete with original hardware brass keyhole, authentic patinated ink stains inside and out, plus original shipping and/or manufacturer’s labels. A wood arm holds the top open while inside sit three mahogany front drawers with pine carcasses and finely made dovetail joints with six slots below. It is hand-chamfered. Exquisite piece of English history that would look lovely in a library, home office, or guest bedroom. Set it on a table or mount it on a custom made iron base for a more contemporary take.
