This is an exquisite Edwardian writing desk that adds historical character to the home office or living room décor. Circa 1910s. with a large rectangular writing desk, finished with a leather tabletop with an embossed floral. This writing desk has been constructed with a rich mahogany that enriches the home setting. The desk front has a large central drawer which has been divided into two sections. with three graduating drawers to either side of the desk, with the two upper drawers to either side having also been split into a large section and a smaller section (see photographs). These drawers provide excellent storage for utensils, documents and books. The drawer are all finished with gorgeous brass drop handles. The desk has a central knee hole for a chair to comfortably sit under. Standing proudly on four gorgeous tapering square legs, finished with square metal rolling castors. The desk exterior displays a wonderful panelled design that surrounds the desk. Overall, this writing desk is in great antique condition, with signs of general use and veneer wear to the desk, as to be expected from an item with years of use (see photographs).
