Able artisans utilized indigenous old-growth oak to produce the elegant contours of the beveled top surface, which presides over the apron below, which has been hand-carved on all four sides with resplendent shell, foliate and cross-hatching motifs. Four graceful cabriole legs provide support and are themselves carved with acanthus fronds and foot tips just above the cloven hooves.
