An antique Lombard center desk made of fine woods, dating from the second half of the 18th century. The top features a geometric design bordered by polychrome inlays along the entire edge. The under-top panel incorporates a drawer that slides out via gilded bronze rings and is highlighted by dense festoon inlay with a medallion at the center, a motif repeated around the entire perimeter. The four legs have the classic inverted truncated pyramid shape with geometric inlay at the center and are topped with gilded bronze spheres. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional shellac and alcohol, applied by hand. Provenance: Lombardy, 18th century. Dimensions: 96x64 H79 cm.
