Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe desk in mahogany with chiseled leather top dating back to the first half of the 19th century. The top is covered in chiseled leather with 24kt gold trimmed with mahogany. The front is marked by five drawers embellished with bone handles, including a large one topped by a leather-covered writing desk. The legs have a curvilinear shape embellished with leaf-shaped carvings and joined by mixed-line crossbars. The opposite side is mirrored to the main one. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional methods with handmade shellac and alcohol. Origin: Naples, 19th century. Dimensions: 145x72 H80cm.
