A wonderful antique William IV writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1850 period. This is of fantastic quality and is a very useful size, with lovely slim proportions, it stands on beautifully turned baluster legs. There are three drawers with nicely turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There is an inset leather top with gold tooled edges, the leather has a beautiful colour which compliments the wood nicely. The back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with a gorgeous all round patina.
