This outstanding Art Deco style desk is crafted by Maitland-Smith, circa 1970s. The company is well known for its use of unusual materials. This desk is beautifully covered in faux ostrich leather, arranged in a geometric patchwork design. The top is made of broken abalone shells inlaid with brass that gives it a distinctive flair. The structural design of the desk includes three drawers. The legs taper downward and culminate in patinated brass capped feet.
