This bookmatched walnut-toned table has a scalloped top and beveled edge, over a single drawer. The cabriole legs are nicely carved on the upper knee portion, and end in a scroll-shaped foot. Each corner of the apron also contains a carved element. The single drawer is constructed with dovetail joints. The piece appears to be vintage (vs. antique). There are a few previous capable repairs: the top has been reinforced with a center board and a corner block (see underside collage), and facing the piece, the front left side, and the front right leg have been restored (see final picture). One knob may be original; the set is not perfectly matched however very similar in style. The drawer has been reglued, the knobs and the entire piece have been cleaned, and the wood is freshly waxed. The piece shows minor signs of wear, appropriate to its age. Height under the apron/drawer is 21.5 inches.
