Florence Knoll™ Mini Desk

With typical modesty, Florence Knoll described her line of desks as the “meat and potatoes" she envisioned for office spaces. “I did it because I needed the piece of furniture for a job and it wasn't there, so I designed it." While this may have been the motivation for the Mini Desk (1961), the result is anything but a fill-in piece. Perfectly proportioned and flawlessly detailed, it embodies Florence Knoll's adherence to the teachings of her mentor, Mies van der Rohe. Made in Italy.
