Fred Desk

An unforgettable intersection of light and gorgeous geometry, the Fred Desk from Poltrona Frau adds impact to its surroundings with unforgettable intricacy. A Roberto Lazzeroni design made in Italy. It ascends from trapezoidal, solid ash sides joined by a single crossbar. All of the wooden elements bevel inward, creating a lighter presence and setting a drawer with robust metal runners beneath a curving tabletop. The curving continuous top is fashioned from rich and robust saddle leather hand-incised with cold-hammered markings that express a signature, decorative character, arcing down over the drawer and remaining firm without visible support, contrasting well with the smooth wood structure below. The Fred Desk coordinates well with the curving Ginger chair but can stand easily on its own.
