An elegant late Victorian period inlaid satinwood kidney shaped writing desk. Very well constructed with attractive satinwood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The top inset with a sumptuous black leather writing surface and with banding in rosewood to the surrounds. The main body of the desk and legs embellished with inlaid stringing throughout. with a series of shorter drawers flanking a longer central drawer, all fitted wit their original brass handles.
