Large Louis XV style marquetry desk from the early 20th century. The top is edged with a gilt bronze molding with floral corner decoration, and the original tan leather is wheel-decorated with signs of wear. The four cabriole legs are adorned with gilt bronze female figures. There are three drawers in the frieze. The visitor's side has false drawers. The legs terminate in gilt bronze lion's paw feet. DIMENSIONS: 1.82m x 1.02m and 0.80m high. 0.645m high under the central drawer.
